Live Brief

Ive decided that I will base my 5 minute video on the aesthetics, history and philosphy of art. I will have someone talking about how are have developed and how some artists like leonardo davinci used alot of knowledge behind their work. The first minute will be just an introduction to art itself and how it is used in the world.
For the second video it shows how art has different forms of philosophy in art.

for example:

• speculative philosophy - concerned with metaphysics (first principles and causes) and epistemology (methods for gaining valid knowledge)

• applied philosophy - relating philosophical concepts and methods to other fields (philosophy of science, philosophy of education, philosophy of history, etc.)

• practical philosophy - concerned with ethics (worth of human actions, and judgments of what is right and good) and aesthetics (defining the nature of beauty and art, formulating principles governing its production and evaluation)

I will then go on to interview students from different areas in the art world from students, employee's and artists to what they would define art as.
